This is why I hate those “What men think” / “What women think” how-to books. The problem isn’t figuring someone else out; it’s knowing yourself better and allowing someone else to get close. Getting inside someone else’s head is impossible, and trying to do so is frustrating and futile. Knowing what you want out of a relationship is the only thing worth worrying about because it’s the only thing you can control.
