A New Direction
Just a note for all subscribers, I’ve moved my blog over to the excellent Tumblr. I found that the antiquated publishing engine I was using previously, Movable Type, was seriously affecting my desire to write. So I found Tumblr, which is simple and beautiful and a joy to use. Gladwell on how to hire when we're not sure what... →
Seems like the illusion that we’re able to predict the future in hiring, software, etc is fading away. Being experimental and able to change quickly in response to real data is a more important trait than plans based on false assumptions. It will be interesting to see what other systems change from a plans-based model to an agile model.
